Kameron Isabella Klercke was born at 9:33 Sunday
(10/10/04) morning at Danderyd Sjukhus. She was 52cm (20.4 inches) long and
weighed 3410grams (7.5lbs).
She had swallowed meconium during birth, so her
breathing wasn't strong enough and she did not get enough oxygen in her blood,
so she was put in an incubator with extra oxygen to be monitored for a few days.
Things progressed really quick though: she got the
oxygen tube out the first night, the heart-rate monitor wires, feeding tube, IV
and so on followed soon.
Then after that, she was diagnosed with jaundice, so she had to spend most of
her time in a 'tanning bed'. She did not like this, so it was a big relief when
she was back to normal and could return to a normal bed.
After five days she was discharged and we all went
home. |
